The Alert J5 is a portable breath alcohol testing unit that provides quick and accurate test results and has the ability to store them in it’s integrated memory system. It is also fully compatible with the optional portable printer.

Following the automatic prompt that signals the Alert J5 is ready, the donor breathes into the mouthpiece continuously and moderately for 5 seconds. Once the device has determined that a proper sample of breath has been taken, it electronically senses the the alcohol concentration of the sample and instantly displays the result on the LCD screen. With an analysis time of less than ten seconds, results are shown quickly and clearly; and up to 10 previous results can be recalled from the system’s memory.
