Because, like the oilfield crews, we operate 24/7, we can offer emergency testing in post-accident or reasonable cause situations, either on-site or at one of our nearby collection centres. When handling an emergency call we respond on a 'window of opportunity' basis. For example, a post-accident test for alcohol must be completed within eight hours of the incident; a similar test for drugs must be made within 32 hours.
